Joaquín Pérez Rodríguez

Joaquín Pérez Rodriguez is a Harvard educated political consultant in the U.S. and Latin America. He was born in Cuba and a founding member of the Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil (a student run organization opposing Fidel Castro's regime), he had to flee Cuba and take up residence in Venezuela, where he became a prominent political activist, a professor of law and public servant. Joaquín Pérez Rodríguez is also a commentator and a frequent contributor to Spanish and Latino media in the United States, where he now lives, and the author of La Voz Cubana (Ediciones Universal, 2015).
